Sample flashcard
On the 300-410 ENARSI v1.1 outline, which domain carries the most weight, and how much?
1.0 Layer 3 Technologies, at 35%. VPN Technologies and Infrastructure Security are 20% each, Infrastructure Services 25%.
Sample practice question
A router learns 172.16.40.0/24 from four sources at once: an EIGRP internal route, an OSPF intra-area route, a RIP route and an iBGP route. All use default settings. Which source installs the prefix in the routing table?
- A. The OSPF intra-area route
- B. The RIP route
- C. The EIGRP internal route
- D. The iBGP route
Answer: C. With identical prefix lengths the router compares administrative distance, and EIGRP internal (90) is lower than OSPF (110), RIP (120) and iBGP (200). OSPF would win only if EIGRP were absent. iBGP has one of the highest default distances, so it loses to every IGP. RIP at 120 loses to both EIGRP and OSPF.
